Life Expectancy in the United States

State-level life expectancy data is from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME). The IHME estimates cover the period of 1980 to 2014. De-identified death records from the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) and population counts from the census bureau, NCHS, and the Human Mortality Database were used in the analysis.
